Rampant Lion is excited to announce they will be doing their next record at Noise Floor Studios with producer Jordan Koop (War Baby, Dead Soft, Nu Sensae) in February 2016.
Their last EP Mirror Distortion was recorded in Seattle with legendary producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Mudhoney). Tracked and mixed over 3 days, it features the dynamic energy of the band in its purest form with all the instruments recorded live off the floor.
Rampant Lion is a dynamic grunge-pop band from Vancouver. It started when 3 friends: Bob, Conor, and Todd played together with the aim to "jam" but quickly discovered a musical chemistry beyond the ordinary. They practiced in the attic of an old house nicknamed “The Rampant Lion” that was a gathering place for artists and musicians since the hippie days of late 1960's Kitsilano. Therefore, the band name came easy.
The band has played venues such as the Biltmore, The Railway Club, Roxy, Logan's, Media Club, and Red Room.
