Bio

Alan Munde: Banjo
I began playing banjo as a teenager growing up in Norman, Oklahoma. I met and played music with the great and mightily talented fiddler Byron Berline when we were both students at the University of Oklahoma. My professional career started in 1969 with my recording with the then
sixteen year-old Sam Bush on the album Poor Richard’s Almanac. Following that I recorded with first generation bluegrass legends Red Allen and Jimmy Martin when I lived in Nashville, Tennessee.
Continuing a career that has spanned nearly 40 years, I have performed, recorded and toured with many of the greats in the bluegrass field.

Elliott Rogers: Guitar
While living in Austin Texas in the 80's, I worked for years with songwriters like Townes Van Zandt, George Ensle and Blaze Foley, and recorded with Lyle Lovett , Nancy Griffith and Robert Earl Keen on Roberts first album, ‘No Kinda Dancer’
After moving to New Mexico I started "Elliotts Ramblers" and played on the Festival circuit for over 20 years. I have since moved back to Texas and have joined the ALAN MUNDE GAZETTE and tour with nationally promoting our new CD.' Made To Last.'

Janice Rogers:Bass
Janice grew up singing gospel music at the age of 4 and has become a rock solid bass player as well. While working in Elliotts Ramblers for over 20 years she has shared her talents for harmony and lead singing at festivals and workshops all over the southwest.
