Born Feb 21 in Pensacola Florida Naval Air Base Randle T. Catron son of song writer, composer, manager and vice president of Stax Records in Memphis Tenn, young Catron started out as one of the legendary groups The MadLad’s and moved on to be one of the Newcomers.
With five strings of hit songs like Mannish Boy, Darling Dear, I want someone. Opening for bands like Confunkshun, Lakeside, Cameo, Tempree’s, Staple Singers. Worked with such people as Rondell Sheridan from “That so Raven," Danny Glover. He is also the son of the civil rights leader Randle Catron Sr. , under the direct tutelage of Dr. Martin Luther King. His main goal is to restore the house of God and to help the homeless people and the rights of others. His slogan is “ What gives a man the right to take away another man’s speech and his rights of being an American”. This Cd is dedicated to helping others more than himself, May God bless America because we are going through something right now. We should find love in all nationalities. Amen
