Random Cochella

Random Cochella (Real name Vanessa Valdez aka V Dot) was born and raised on the westside of the island of O’ahu in the city of Waipahu aka 94 block, Random Cochella grew up under rough circumstances. Lacking support from her mother, friends and being physically and verbally abused by her older brother, “Chella” found her way out of that situation when she moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of her dreams to make music.

Managed by her mentor, best friend and producer Track (Christopher Deshields), Random Cochella made a way for herself and has since established roots in Southern California.

 “I met Track at a modeling shoot in Hawaii and ever since we’ve been working together and clicked, making the move out to LA a couple years after touring as a hype girl. I ain’t even gonna lie we were ripping and running and it was a struggle, but we got through it and it was just an exciting transition. Just feeling out LA itself and just trying to find out who to network with and how to move around was incredible.”

The name "Random Cochella" came about when i decided to work on my very first album, i wanted it to represent me and everything ive been through. "chella" meaning very emotional and "random" which is self defined. My energy was up and down at one point and it conflicted with another...hence the "co" in cochella.

Looking forward, fans can expect a full length album titled "Therapy" this Winter that is still in the works and through organic social media promo has proven to be anticipated by old and new fans alike. Recently Dropping her first single "George Jefferson" off the project, she has also released a visual that is nothing short of an urban masterpiece. Featuring Compton native Big2DaBoy "George Jefferson" has fans wanting more and more.

The future looks bright for "Random Cochella as she is currently on a radio promo tour for the single and upcoming Album, she is also gearing up for a multi-city tour that planned for winter.
