Random Eyez

Random Eyez is a band that really has a little bit of
everything to offer. They are the true definition of
fusion, and if you give them a listen, I’m sure you won’t
be able to help the groove that overcomes your soul.
This is a collaboration of both long-time musicians,
and long-time friends that just made their debut
together a little over a year ago in the Bloomington
music scene. Each band member really brings his own
flavor to the group, that when combined, creates a
smorgasbord of greatness.
Jeremy has been playing his guitar for 17 years and
counting. As I’m sure you can imagine, he can play just
about anything you’d like to hear. Jeremy really brings
the psychedelic groove… partially because a couple of
his favorites are Pink Floyd and the ever beloved Phish.
Ricky’s style on the drums definitely reflects that of a
true rocker at heart. He’s been practicing those John
Bonham licks for over 13 years, and, well… he can kick
a beat to any little thing you throw at him.
Ladies and gentlemen, Curtis Harding on the bass. This
is who is responsible for slapin’ and slidin’ those funky
bass lines. After 10 years, he can lay down a groove
that will definitely make you wanna move.
Jared is a local performer and educator. He just
recently finished his Masters degree in Music Education
at IU and when you hear that saxophone, you’ll
see exactly what that means. Jared’s Bachelors degree
in Jazz Studies and Saxophone Performance really
come into play with what he brings to the band.
And, every so often, Random Eyez has a 5th member…
It’s truly a treat to have Doc Malone grace the stage
with his harps. This brings a whole other dimension to
the sound these guys create. Doc has a busy schedule
as a pediatrician, but really seems to enjoy playing
with this group… and it shows.
This is a group that you really should see at least once.... you'll be back for more!
