Random Pulse was originally formed in 2004 at Musictech College. Ryan, Cole, and Thomas formed an instrumental, trio based almost completely on impovisation. After this line up played together for nearing two years they desided it was time to expand. This is when Pat was included. Already having an extensive repertoire, it was fairly simple for Pat to be included. The influences for Random Pulse span just as far as the styles of music we perform including Pink Floyd, Miles Davis, Phish, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, and Primus, among others.
