Kick It At The Casa

Written By: Randy Joe Heavin

Verse1
It’s 2am and the band just played their last song for the night
The bouncers yelling drinkem down
Their turning up the lights
Then a man from out of nowhere grabbed the mic up on the stage
And before they shut the power off
This is what I he said

Chorus
Let’s kick it at the casa
If that’s ok
It’s only up the road a spell
We can be there right away
Everyone’s invited to my humble home
For laughs and real good times
Let’s kick it at the casa
Let’s kick it at the casa
Let’s kick it at the casa
At closing time

Verse2
Well, I don’t have a doorman
And there aint no cover charge
I’ve got a two-car garage with a Neon light
And a pool in my back yard
I got lots of food, and a hot tub
All at your beckon call.
And you can be sure that you’ll never hear
The bar keep yell, “last call”

Chorus Repeat

Verse3
Well if you have a little too much to drink
You don’t have to drive
There’s two rooms in the basement
And a camper right outside
I’ve got Lazy Boy’s for bar stools
I’ll see you make it home
Me Casa esu Casa
That’s my house is your home

Chorus
We’re gonna kick it at the casa
If that’s ok
It’s only up the road a spell
We can be there right away
Everyone’s invited to my humble home
For laughs and real good times
Let’s kick it at the casa
We’re all going to the casa
Let’s kick it at the casa
At closing time

Stuck Between A Rock And No Place

Written By: Randy Heavin

1st Verse
Well a good friend bragged to me he had it easy
To me, that’s just another kind of hard
Cause the dollars that I’m making don’t make no sense
And the cents I make won’t fill a mason jar

Now the payment on my trailer just keeps on rising
Whoa the tranny in my truck is gone again
The bottom of the bottoms where I’m stranded
Man I wonder if it’s ever gonna end

Chorus
Yea, I’m STUCK BETWEEN A ROCK AND NO PLACE
And that’s just somewhere south of “What the Hell”
If I was up a creek with no paddle, it would sure be heaven
Aw cause then I’d have a boat that I could sell

Just when I think that I have finally make some progress
Someone swings the wrecking ball on me
I’m STUCK BETWEEN A ROCK AND NO PLACE
And that’s some place you don’t ever want to be

2nd Verse
Well my neighbors just pulled up driving a new car
And just last week, they built a swimming pool
If only I could figure out their secret
I could send all my 10 kids to private school

Yea but I just can’t seem to make the ends meet
And if they did, they’d probably just collide
So if you need me just look down at bottom
You can find me there until the end of time

Repeat Chorus

And that’s one place you don’t ever want to be

You Can't Take My Love For Granted Anymore

Written By: Randy Heavin, Jessie Heavin

1st Verse
When you called me this morning
Girl you told me you were ready
To go through with everything we had planned
Well you thought I still be waiting
But you took my love for granted
Now that ring I bought for you wear
Is on someone else’s hand

Chorus
YOU CAN’T TAKE MY LOVE FOR GRANTED anymore
That key you carried to my heart
Won’t unlock the door
I changed the locks to keep you out
And to keep my new love in
You can through away that key you have
It will never let you in

2nd Verse
Well I hope things work out right for you
I hope you understand
I can’t let you have a key
I just can’t let you in
Cause you’ve left the door wide open
For to many times
And I know how you love swinging doors
Incase you change your mind

Repeat Chorus

Repeat Chorus

It will never let you in

I Wanna Go Fishing

Written By: Randy Joe Heavin

1st Verse
I could spend my days in lazy boy
In a mansion on a hill
Or catch a fast train straight to New Orleans
Or a slow ship down to Cozumel
I could waste away my spare time
Watching football with my friends
But I’d rather get my rod and reel
And go fishing when I can

Chorus
I wann go fishing
Cause it takes my stress away
I wanna go fishing
Try and cast my blues away
I wanna go fishing
I don’t wanna watch the clock
I wanna go fishing
I don’t ever want to stop

2nd Verse
There is nothing like a morning bite
When the fish are eating well
Or a new crank bait that’s running straight
Over a rocky ledge or a tree that fell
A new shiny boat that I can toat
To every lake that I can find
So when the weekend comes and the work gets done
I got one thing on my mind

Repeat Chorus

Alt Chorus
I wann go fishing
Cause it takes my stress away
I wanna go fishing
Try and cast my blues away
I wanna go fishing
I can’t wait to leave the dock
I wanna go fishing
I don’t ever want to stop

Tag
Yea, Its what I love
Its number one
On my list, of things to do
I wanna go fishing
That’s what I wanna do
Yea I wanna go fishing
That’s what I wanna do

We Just Had Enough

Written By: Randy Joe Heavin

1st verse
We had one uneven leg on our table
We had, two or three different kinds of plates
We had soup that we borrowed from the neighbors
Momma thinned it out, but at least we always ate

There were two shades of carpet in the front room
Had a windup clock, on a milk crate by my bed
I wore hammy down jammies and I fought it
But they kept me warmer than that sterno did

Chorus
I wouldn’t change a thing for nothing
And you can take that to the bank
The love momma gave was something
I thank god for all her grace
I had a hard times education
Earned a PHD in love
We didn’t have too much of nothing
We just had enough

2nd Verse
I watched momma bust her tail down at the diner
And I learned that Nine to five was just some country song
She worked sun up to sun down and came home smiling
She gave everything to make our house a home

Well I did what I could to do to earn a dollar
So momma wouldn’t have to buy me things
She’d say son, you keep you money for tomorrow
Well If that aint love, then I don’t know a thing

Repeat Chorus

We got a hard times education
But earned a PHD in love
We didn’t have too much of nothing
But to us, it was enough
