Author Stephen King chose "My Drinkin' Problem" as one of his 10 favorite songs of 2006 (all genres) in his "Pop Of King" in "Entertainment Weekly" magazine. Randy's "All-American Redneck" released on Warner Brothers in 1983, is still considered a cult/jukebox classic. Clint Eastwood, who was responsible for signing Randy to WB, has comissioned, and owns the rights to a movie script based on the song. Randy stays busy managing his writer/publisher interests, and continues to write and perform.
