With deep bluegrass roots, picking a six string became a way of life. Learning to put words in rhyme started a dream and a passion as a youngster, learning three chords and the truth, that I knew I would never forget. Paying dues from a tip jar on Broadway in Nashville became the best time of my life. Sometimes playin four nights straight at the Cadillac Ranch, from songwriter sets during the week to bringing out the band and closing the place down on the weekends. Just playing music with the best and most loyal friends a guy could ever find. I dragged them to music city from Alabama several nights a week and back, and they never gave up and always gave their all. A simple man can't ask for much more. I've had many great opportunities within my music career, including a night of originals at the Wildhorse Saloon with Dan Shafer, and the best of all, opening for the legendary David Ball. Influenced by the the lyrical abilities of Keith Whitley, and striving for the musical talents of Brad Paisley, all I have ever wanted was to write a song that touches someone and to be able to share my heart's passion. Keeping God first and foremost, this music called country will always be a fire that burns within me.
