Biography

Randy Vaughn is from a small town in western Kentucky just south of the Ohio river where Blue Grass is King. But instead of following the local flavor Randy was influenced early on by artist such as John Mellencamp, Tom Petty and Bruce Springstein.
Randy learned to play the drums at age nine and soon after became a quick study in guitar , piano and vocals. After years of touring with cover bands and playing the local club circuits he began to explore writing and recording his own material.
Randy has proven that he can cover a large range of styles. From heart felt love ballads to rock and roll, he is quickly developing into an accomplished and seasoned entertainer and song writer. With a high energy non-stop stage presence it is clear he is at his best when he is on stage doing what he loves most , playing and singing.

If You Wanna Leave

I don’t wanna talk about it , there’s really nothing left to say
Why you always wanna shout it , you know I won’t stand in your way
Are you surprised my heart’s not bleeding , I never thought you’d be so cold
This same old scene just keeps repeating , sometimes I wish that you’d just go

Chorus: If you wanna leave please do it now
I don’t know if I can say good-bye
Or even if I know how

Sometimes at night I sit and wonder , just how it got to be this way
We used to love like rollin thunder , we used to sit and talk for days
But now we pass the days like strangers , at times we never say a word
It seems we’re so consumed with anger
This whole damn thing seems so absurd.

Chorus: If you wanna leave please do it now
I don’t know if I could say good-bye or find a way
somehow
But if you wanna stay please let me know
I’ll wrap my lovin arms around you and never , ever let
You go.

Eye To Eye
Words and Music By Randy Vaughn
Well I hate to tell you baby but I’ve been through this before
I don’t mean to be so cruel but I find this all a bore
This endless conversation about who’s right or who’s wrong
Will it matter in morning when you wake up and find that I’m gone?

Chorus: I ain’t askin for much ,just a little understanding
A simple touch , to keep me from crash landin
I ain’t askin for much , just a little compromise
It’s a short conversation when you can’t see eye to eye.

Well I’m tryin hard not to let my emotions get to me
I keep tellin myself things will get better just you wait and see
Somehow I don’t think that your tryin your best to understand
Take it from ole J.T. I just wanna be your handy man

Bridge: What does it take to make you understand
There’s no need to draw that line in the sand
I’ve tried to convince you from the very start
Look at me on bended knees
I’m tryin to give you my heart

Well I hate to tell you baby but we’ve been through this before
And I promised myself that I’d never walk back through that door
But something in my heart tells me that’s not what I wanna do
So let’s try it one more time to make the best of me and you

Chorus: I ain’t askin for much ,just a little understanding
A simple touch , to keep me from crash landin
I ain’t askin for much , just a little compromise
It’s a short conversation when you can’t see eye to eye
Eye to Eye
