JACK BLACK LABEL

Written By: RANDY WHITEHOUSE

JACK BLACK LABEL
I can remember my 18th birthday
It's when I got my first bottle of jack
I'll never forget how it made me squeal
When I broke that seal and tilted it back
Old no.7 it said on the label
I remember because I read it so well
Tennessee whiskey made from sour mash
But I swear it came strait out of hell
(CHORUS) Jack black label
Had me laying out flat on the floor
By the time they said it was over
I couldn't even stand up no more
They say I stumbled around and I kept falling down
I even had some drool on my chin
It ain't no doubt it really knocked me out
So I'm never drinking jack again
They say if you mix it with cider
It won't have as much of a bite
And some people mix it with soda
But it still ain't a drink that I like
And Tennessee tea is not for me
It still puts up one hell of a fight
It's not the taste that gets me it's the way it hits me
So I wont be drinking jack tonight
(CHORUS) (CHORUS)
That jacks some bad stuff

LOVE ALONE

Written By: RANDY WHITEHOUSE

LOVE ALONE
I remember that first time that I saw you
You were sitting on the floor at Steve's house
You popped a button on your flannel
And everything was hanging out
You said you'd like to have me drive you home
And drop you off rite by your house
I said I had no gas to get you there
And watched you walk home by yourself
Thinking
Man can't live on love alone That's what all my friends are saying
Man can't live on love alone
Sure going to have some fun trying
Going to have a good time trying
In the front seat of my maverick
Parked by a tree in the shade
You put your footprint on my windshield
Rite in that fog that we just made
Singing
Man can't live on love alone That's what people keep saying Man can't live on love alone What a time we had trying Sure had a good time trying
You sneak out your bedroom window
Just to come see me at night
We'd go park down by the expressway
I'd get you home by morning light
Singing
Man can't live on love alone That's what everybody's saying Man can't live on love alone What a time we had trying Sure had a good time trying
Sure had a good time trying, Oh what a time we had now
Sure had a good time trying, You just can't blame a man now
Sure had a good time trying, You just can't blame a man for trying
Sure had a good time trying, Oh what a time we had now
Sure had a good time trying

12-22-32

12-22-32
I was 12 years old playing in the front yard
Trying to build a bike with some parts I found just laying around
I started thinking how my dad would look and were he was today
And if he knew about me would he fix this bike so I could roll on away
(CHORUS)
I don't know how to do this
My daddies not here to show me
I never have seen it done so I don't know how it's suppose to be
I don't know how to do this Because he never was here to show me
Momma can't help me now this is something you need a daddy to be
I don't know how to do this I don't know how to do this

I was 22 when the nurse said I could hold you A beautiful baby girl just lying there and she's waiting for me
I changed your diaper then I picked you up to hold you You stuck your foot out so I rubbed it and I started thinking

(CHORUS)
I don't know how to do this
My daddies not here to show me
I never have seen it done so I don't know how it's suppose to be
I don't know how to do this Because he never was here to show me
Momma can't help me now this is something you need a daddy to be
I don't know how to do this I don't know how to do this

I was 32 when a boy knocked on the front door He said is your daughter home my name is John I live down the street
It made me sad to think that you might have a boy friend And is he the one who's going to come and take my baby girl from me

I don't know how to do this
My daddies not here to show me
I never have seen it done so I don't know how it's suppose to be
I don't know how to do this Because he never was here to show me
