Down For Lyfe Entertainment was founded in 2001 by Cedric Anderson. The University of California, Davis graduate created the entertainment company for the purpose of providing at-risk youth and young people, who are musically talented, with the opportunity to pursue a dream of becoming "professional recording artist(s)". Down For Lyfe Entertainment focuses on artist development and management, off-line distribution and promotions. Signed to Down For Lyfe Entertainment are a group called the RAP ADDICTZ. The RAP ADDICTZ have become a major force to be reckoned with, in the underground Hip-Hop scene. Big Will "Arsun" and 2Face "Tha Lyrical Flame Throwa" started out in the industry as "Battle MC's", to the present where they are the hottest rap group coming out of Stockton, California. They have been rapping together since the 7th grade and have been through the "typical" struggles that at-risk youth are often associated with such as drug dealing, robbery, gangs, etc.
Since signing to Down For Lyfe Entertainment, they have stamped themselves as a quality Hip-Hop act. Radio stations such as Da Bomb, KWIN and KDON have begun to notice. Al Greenz (host of Friday Night Hype) and Kim Flores at KWIN, has been there main supporters. Their debut album "The Addiction" is in stores now!.
