Nico Woods is a hip hop performing and recording artist based in the Bronx, New York. Nico Woods, now officially listed as a Voiceless Music Award winner from his collaboration with Meko Sky on "Throne Talk", has begun his journey as the next up to be recognized from The Bronx.
So taking upon himself to show off his lyrical ability and making sure we were the first to get it, Nico delivers a freestyle off that could be a early Best Freestyle On Wax contender as he drops some very 90's like flavor on this Joey Bada$$' classic.

Nico Woods makes his stand in todays indiestry, "everyone's a rapper huh" free-styled over Joey Bada$$ Waves he calls out those who do not put the effort and the time into the craft, the lyrical tyrant from uptown has no quams and will continue to show that his music is still number one. The videography behind this shows the outside of the box creative direction that many people do not take the time. Using clips from the NFL and our favorite looney tunes Niko shows us just a portion of the creativity has established. What is next for the leader of the tribe we just have to wait and see.

Growing up primarily in the Bronx area of New York City, Nico is a talented young lyricist with a knack for storytelling. Giving all credit for his passionately clever and gritty east coast style to the music of his upbringing; the young emcee and leader of the Zone Tribe says his only goal is to bring a spirit of honesty back to the genre. By not pretending to be something he isn't, or depicting a life he doesn't lead, Nico feels his message is authentic and refreshing. "It may not be the most glamorous life, but it's the only life I know and somebody somewhere is gonna be able to relate to my stories."
