Bio
Rapture Jazz met while playing a church in Southern NJ. Their heaviest influences are Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters, Freddie Hubbard and Lonnie Liston Smith. Rapture Jazz has a sound not heard in the last 30 years. In a word, Funky! The group consists of Terence Jones, Sr on all basses, composer and co-founder, Dane Clark on guitars, composer an co-founder, Mike Clark on drums, John Kea on all Keyboards and composer, Pedro Matos on alto and soprano saxes and Tony Lyles on trumpet, flugelhorn, percussion and vocals.
