"Then up steps Rapunzel MAP, a girl who has an amazing voice! She blasts through a range of tracks of her Raw, Live Real album and everybody in the room is silent. This is probably the most intimate gig I have ever been to! She eventually breaks the silence by asking if her guitar is fully in tune. Stav from Majik says it might be a little out, but the rest of us cant tell because were too swept away by her melody. Musos hey? Then she devotes a Delerium/Sara McLachlan cover to me 'Silence' and the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, my heart starts to beat faster and the rest of the gig is a blur."

First on is kooky Rapunzel Map, an acoustic singer songwriter with an angelic voice and chiming guitar. Her songs are half fairytales, half kitchen sink dramas, so beautifully sung they have an arresting power and real warmth.
