At the age of 12, begins to participate in Fado contests, winning 12 first places.
Her first album was recorded in 2006 and awarded with 2 revelation awards by the press and Amlia Rodrigues Foundation.
In 2008, her second album Bairro is released.
Since 2010 the singer casts in the play Shadows, directed by Ricardo Pais. that toured Brazil and Russia.
Her voice has been heard in countries such as Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Morocco, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, UK, Ireland, Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Australia and most recently, Colombia.
Raquel live presents herself accompanied with Portuguese Guitar, Acoustic guitar and Acoustic Bass.
