Biography
Ras Anonymous is a Reggae artist that brings a multitude of sounds together to appeal to a vast population of urban, pop and underground music listeners. Ras Anonymous is marketed to the college scene and has the ability to rock a crowd!
As one of many aspiring Reggae artist out of New York, Ras Anonymous has separated himself from the others with raw talent, paired with an uncanny understanding of the industry. Ras Anonymous describes the man that owns the persona, but that controls the music and every beat that he handles.
Growing up in New York and Florida was instrumental for his grooming journey as a song writer. Ras Anonymous was always in the recording studio writing and stacking his vault of songs. He became and still is a polished song writer.
Ras Anonymous began looking to find something to harness his creative energy and therefore turned to music, and the industry that saturated his surroundings. Honing his skills has made him the seasoned vocalist that he is today. He was influenced early in his career by the musical mastermind of the Art of Music.
Pounding the Streets for years with his personal friends Super Cat and Cutty Ranks two of Dancehall Reggae Superstars Ras Anonymous realize it was time to focus on his own destiny. His determination and perseverance turn dreams into reality, he has always been a phenomenal song writer so now he has turned his lyrical ability into an uncanny business savvy for the industry.
Completely entrenched in the music business, Ras Anonymous set out to solidify his own identity in the industry. He began creating his own brand of music. Ultimately realizing that MUSIC is the driving force that brings people together so he delivered his goods for “Humanity” timeless and classic music.
Completing his first album, Ras Anonymous generated a sizable buzz with his regional hit, “Man a Real Hot Steppa” the first single and music video from the Independent Feature Film “Hot Steppas’ He continued to appear on a steady stream of mix tapes while developing his live performance skills. After solidifying his stage persona, this talented artist began opening shows around the country for major talent.
Ras Anonymous has been able to bring a certain tenacity and resilience to the table, making him an extremely valuable commodity, as well as allowing him to own his position in the industry. Ras Anonymous is a bankable artist with bankable hits trying to find a home and a home to find him. While putting the finishing touch on his debut CD (Album) not yet titled is real valuable to him ”My music is for my fans here and abroad they are the reason I write the songs I write, they are the ones that buy my music and come to see me perform”
