We have a very ethical approach to music and feel that part of our legacy and purpose is to preserve the art of turntablism. We prefer to not call ourself a dj. We consider ourself to be an alchemical vinyl transformer. We have been living in the San Francisco Bay Area for the last 9 years and have come across many of the best dj's in the world. We have yet to come across 1 who can spin reggae, dub and hip-hop in the style and fashion that we do. We mix beats that traditionally are not put together and ride them for an extended time which creates live remixes, all while providing reverb and effects that make the music very ambient and ethereal. We have been applauded for this ability, and our mix cd's reflect this. We use no computers or serato, and manipulate the vinyl without digital pitch-adjusters. Our top notch music selections also have made us a favorite amongst our followers. We tend not to play gigs unless we have all the necessary elements to create the energy we produce. We started in Texas and moved to The Bay Area in order to be in an environment where are skills could be challenged. We fully intend to be an international force to be reckoned with if we maintain our focus and discipline which sometimes is our greatest challenge.
