Rashonda Greggs

Born for His glory and called to His purpose, Rashonda Greggs sings under the mighty and powerful anointing of Jesus Christ! As the Spirit Fest Legend of 2007-2008, she realizes God has placed a special calling on her life to carry out and fulfill His divine plan: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Her hearts prayer is to take advantage of every opportunity to minister God's word in song, and to always be sensitive to His voice in knowing His direction for her life.

"My deepest passion is that others will hear the heart of God through my music, because my music is His song. There are so many hurting people in the world today who feel perhaps that there is no hope for their situation. Because I've been there and done that, I want to offer people hope and to usher them into the presence of God through my music. I want to encourage others to know that in His presence there is joy, peace, hope and love." Even though Rashonda's breath-taking performances draw audiences of all ages, she is particularly drawn to reach the younger generation. She strongly feels her life testimony will encourage youth to serve God boldly and unashamedly, in spite all!

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, Rashonda is currently a sophomore in college. She is an education major and is currently enrolled in the honors program. She has won numerous awards and recognitions for her academic achievements as well as for her music career. Rashonda has also served as a community volunteer on several occasions.

Rashonda especially enjoys spending time with her baby boy. "He is the joy of my life," says Rashonda. Rashonda's hobbies include singing, dancing and cooking. She has shared the stage with such artist as Lee Williams, Tyler Perry, Tye Tribbett and GA, The Clark Sisters, Yolanda Adams, Dewayne Woods, Tarsha Hamilton, Rance Allen and Mary-Mary. As Rashonda eagerly anticipates the launching of her musical career in this time of "new beginnings," she welcomes and looks forward to given opportunities to express her gifts and talents that the Lord has instilled upon her.

Rashonda says, "My biggest joy would be for others to not only experience a time of praise & worship through my singing, but to know that someone comes to know Christ as their personal savior."
