Bio

Rats in the Grass was formed in the Summer of 2010.
Originally consisting of just an Acoustic Guitar and an old Upright Bass, they have expanded to a 5 piece band adding a Mandolin, Banjo, and a Fiddle to get those feet moving.

They have shot to the forefront of Seattle's blooming folk and bluegrass scene with their exciting live show, 3 part harmonies, and an unmistakeble style that is uniquely thier own.
Once described and "Bringing and Awesomeness to every show that is almost un-natural", RITG have their sights set upon providing all comers a great time and a memorable experience.

Influeced by many traditional and non-traditonal pickers such as the late great Bill Monroe, the Dillards, Flatt and Skruggs as well as current artists like Yonder Mountain String Band, Trampled by Turtles and the Hackensaw Boys.
"Any thing that will get your exitement pumping feet shakin"
