Bio

Influenced by such rock ‘n’ roll legends as The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Guns n’ Roses, Pantera and Black Sabbath, with a more modern sound likened to Audioslave and Velvet Revolver, Rattlesnake Remedy are a hard rock band as decadent and hard hitting as every generation of rock bands should be, with a live stage show stronger than any of their peers.

These phenomenal live shows have received rave reviews from numerous DJ’s, magazines and webzines - having performed in some of the UK’s most prestigious live venues alongside rock artists such as:

· Sebastian Bach (Skid Row)
· Skinny Molly
· LA Guns
· Magnum
· Danny Vaughn (Tyketto)
· M3 (Whitesnake)
· Mickey Moody & Friends
· The Quireboys
· Tokyo Dragons
· Yngwie Malmsteen
· Love Hate
· Zodiac Mindwarp
· Wishbone Ash
· Ted Nugent
· Coheed & Cambria
· Buckcherry

The band have just finished recording their long awaited debut album, MAGIC MAN, encapsulating their finely-honed, hi-octane, energy-fuelled live shows. It will be released in the UK and Ireland on October 30th on BEM Records, distributed by RTD / Universal Music.

One of the tracks, “Reach For The Line” has been chosen by Tony Wilson (Radio 1 / Friday Night Rock Show / Tommy Vance) to replace the Slipknot track as the new audio behind the Total Rock Radio news bulletins, aired worldwide 8 times per day. Since then, the track has also featured on the October issue of Metal Hammer’s cover cd - “Razor”.

The band’s 1st single “Drag You Down” was released May 1st 2006 and went straight into the Radio 1 UK Rock Charts at No.4.

“Drag You Down” was also featured on the July issue of Classic Rock Magazine cover cd – “The Hottest New Rock Bands In The World Today”

Player Magazine (Japan’s longest running and most respected music magazine) featured the band in their Rock ‘n’ Roll Resurrection special feature. The “Drag You Down” CD was included in their 20 recommended CDs alongside the likes of Guns n’ Roses’ “Appetite For Destruction” and Velvet Revolver’s “Contraband” – not bad for a debut single!

Promotion of the single and new album is via the massive 200+ date “Drag You Down Tour 2006” running non-stop throughout the year including a main stage slot at this year’s 20th Anniversary Bulldog Festival.

The band’s first music video to the title track “Magic Man”, which features the band alongside screen star David Gant who has featured in major blockbusters such as “Braveheart” and “Gandhi” will be hitting all major music channels from November onwards including MTV - Headbangers Ball, Scuzz TV and Kerrang! TV.
