"Not your average local band"

RAtz in the Attic is a new band, and an old band--- composed of members who have known each other for years, playing together, playing apart, always learning, staying with the music they love. The sound they produce is crisp and clean, precise and clear, mixed well enough to hear the individual musiciansans whoever happens to be singing at the time.
Ratz in the Attic is not your basic neighborhood band.

The result of all the talent and commitment has drawn attention to the band, and sometimes big-name musicians hunt them up to sit-in and jam awhile.

Ratz in the Attic plays many different kinds of music, from hot rock to slow dancers, from the Beatles to Skynyrd, plus many original tunes which is the direction it wants to head. In the meantime it is fun playing together, and playing to an appreciative audience. - Ross Hall/CNI News Service

"Ratz in the Attic release "Live at the Cavern Club""

On Saturday, Aug 24th, a few local White Countians will have a chance to hear a band that has followed in the footsteps of the Beatles-- literally.
The local band, Ratz in the Attic, wil hold a concert at 9 that evening in the Helen Festhalle to celebrate the release of it's new double CD" Live at the Cavern Club" The CD, as it's title suggests, is a live recording the Ratz made of a spring performance at Liverpool, Englands world-renowned Cavern Club.
The Cavern Club, which bills itself as "The Most Famous Club In The World" is a former home venue of the Beatles, who formed in Liverpool and from 1961-1963 played more than 300 performances on the clubs stage.
Besides performing several times at the Cavern-- and recording their CD there, the Ratz played at several other well-known clubs in other English cities. - Clay Wilson/ WCN.T Staff

The caliber of musicianship is far superior than most of the clubs bands you’ll ever see. Our influences are wide and varied…. Rock to country to classical to jazz, all types of music have made an impression on our unique style of artistry.
Originally formed in 2000, keyboardist, Charles, is the last original Rat. However the new lineup has proven itself as entertaining yet durable. Members of the band have played with such well-known names as Percy Sledge, Rick Derringer, Asleep at the Wheel, Dan Seals, Travis Tritt, Hydra, David Allen Coe and more…..
In 2006 we won a competition with American Idol… Idol Underground. We won 1st place in a songwriting competition for one of our original songs, written by our keyboard player, called “Runaway”
We have also won “Best Local Performer” in North Georgia several times.
We were invited to tour Europe twice. And recorded a Double LIVE CD at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, England… Home of the Beatles. And interviewed LIVE on BBC radio.
We are BMI registered songwriters with several albums recorded as a group and individually.
