With both feet settled firmly in the dirt of border town Haparanda, Sweden, Raubtiers industry-metal gives an immediate impression of being ruthlessly straight-forward. In a Finnish-Swedish dialect, the bands indisputable frontman Hulkoff gives Raubtier a war-inspired and dark sound. With their threatening approach and their aggressive on-stage behavior they position themselves somewhere between acts like Rammstein and Rob Zombie.
In a music climate where image and posing matters there's a certain fear-induced joy in facing something genuinely unpleasant.
