Not even a year has passed and Raucous Jays are already causing a stir on the London rock circuit. The Jays mesh raucous riffs and rambunctious rhythms with racy, bittersweet melodies to construct their charmingly seductive sound.
Formed in May 2008 in East London, the Raucous Jays are Jemma Downey (vocals), Johnny McDermott (Bass), Matty Lips (Guitar), Daz Pratt (guitar)
and Gerry Cottle Jnr (drums/cowbell!).
The Jays have taken flight with regular gigs all over the capital, including slots at The Hope & Anchor, Water Rats, Dublin Castle, and Metro Club.
