To define him you just need one word: consistency. That is the fundamental basis in Raul Cela’s career, which began in 1995; the year in which the renowned Latin artist surprised everyone with his vocal ability to interpret his music. His musical style intricately translated through his compositions gave birth to a superstar in the world of music. Now after nine years he has not faltered, with the solemn proof shown in his discography: Mucho mas (1995), Visible (1998), Impulso (2001).
Through his hard work, undying effort and consistency, Raul manifested his own blessings, when he caught the attention of a New York Recording Company, Lobo Recordings; a popular music industry studio where some of the greatest artists in the world had previously recorded, such as: Marc Anthony, 50 Cent, Jennifer Lopez, NAS, Thalia and the legendary Celia Cruz.
Raul’s name is synonymous with the quality of Lobo Recording, and coupled together they are both evolving, both benefiting from their collective musical magic. This “magic” can be heard on Raul’s most recent productions. These latest Recording includes some of the most well respected musicians and hottest upcoming talent: Chris Rodriguez (Producer for Paulina Rubio), Swing Central (Jennifer Lopez), David Dominguez (Guitarist for Marc Anthony-“Libre”) and Troy Oliver. (Ginuwine and Jennifer Lopez) Raul Cela also did a song entitled “Esta Noche”, featuring the famous rap star from New York, Markie D, a member of the legendary group the Fat Boys. The last production called “2103” mastered by Vic Anesini, a very well known person who won a grammy on his work. Another person who worked in this album was Gordon Dukes (producer of Shagy,Sean Paul and worked remixes on janet Jackson albums). The Reggaeton Remixes in 2103 were worked by Guary & Cleyton very well known in the reggaeton industry (Producer for Latin Artist like Magic one , Wilfrido Vargas, Huey Dunbar.
Breaking into the international market is Raul’s new challenge and he will not rest until he achieves this. For this, he has the full support from Carlos Aviles, his representative and President of Lobo Recording. Over the last two years, together, they have prepared a complete and authentic production, which is destined to revolutionize the Latin market. It has been two years of hard work and perseverance with his producer and friend Joselito “Joey2tone” Batista and several contributors and other artists.
Raul Cela has learned that life is a constant battle, but he also understands that if he falls, the glory is how he gets back up. He believe if he is challenged, to not question why… It is for a reason. It was this philosophy that inspired him to create his forthcoming, 2103, debut international Album. A hint of what to expect can be heard on the first singles, “Club” and “Pena”.
