Ravage

Ravage is a Amsterdam based dubstep collaboration between Jay-B, Stereologue and DNME. Both Jermain Breidel (Jay-B), Tommy Puntman (Stereologue) and Stephan Scheltema (DNME) are born and raised in Amsterdam and very experienced.

Jay-B's huge passion for music already started at a young age. Even before he’s a DJ, he already bought lots of mostly House records, searched for new music and could always be found clubbing. Watching his good friends Real El Canario and Melly Mel spin and produce, Jay-B was getting more and more inspired and motivated to get into the scene. They taught him how to spin and a new talent was born. Since 2005 he played as a resident at Juice, Rampage, Zoete Inval, Back in the days, Rich, Samsobeats, Eclectic Fantastic, 'Sappig' in Sinners and The Zebra, and played in the hottest clubs in Amsterdam such as Hotel Arena, Panama, The Mansion, Club Rain, Bitterzoet and Escape.

DNME, voted as best Dutch Drum 'n Bass producer in 2002 and since the 90's in the top of the Hardcore scene as Predator, had to deal with a creative mind all his life. Lost in graffiti art during his childhood, he became intrigued by early Rap music, Breakbeats, Reggae and Electro. Influenced by his love for music and driven by the rage of a young boy, he established his first release on vinyl in 1992. He managed to release more than 150 tracks, most of them on labels such as Masters of Hardcore, Renegade Hardware, Mokum, Ruffneck, 5HQ and Cenobite. Hit releases like Jiehaaaa, Pump Up The Vibe and Mind Of A Lunatic brought him recognition from around the globe, resulting in live performances and DJ bookings worldwide, from Canada to Australia, from Russia to the United States, Germany, Holland, Swiss, the UK and more.

Stereologue, winner of the ADE 2010 Dave Clark Demolition, already DJ'd at the age of 12 in 1998. He started producing when he was 14 with his Magix Music Maker. He produced Early Rave, Hardcore, Breakcore, Breakbeat and Drum 'n Bass but switched in 2008 to Electro with his release 'Saarre - Shaved (Stereologue Remix)'. Nowadays he is mainly focussed on Dubstep.

Now Jay-B, Stereologue and DNME joined forces to create a new sound in de dubstep scene. With productions scheduled in the near future and a fresh released mixtape they are ready to show what The Netherlands got to offer.
