Ravan

Ravan is not a "tribute" to any group or singer. Ravan is an original performer, who cut his teeth in the demanding ghetto soul clubs of Boston and New York in the mid sixties. Beginning as a Blues/Folk singer, playing guitar and singing during the early 60s East Coast American folk revival, Ravan moved on to singing and playing with many Rock and Soul/R&B groups over the next 25 years, until being recruited to join one of the legendary "Drifters" groups in 1991.That gig brought with it a permanent move to Europe and even when he decided to leave the group, he remained on the continent, between England and the sunny island of Mallorca and has worked as a soloist around Europe and North Africa in a sort of semi-retirement. After reuniting with a few of the "old group" and forming “Driftwood", Ravan began touring extensively again, with the group and still as a solo artist.
