Raven beats Crow were featured on the cover CD from February's Artrocker magazine, compiled by Pepe Jeans. They said:
"With their moniker taken from a game of ‘Bird Top Trumps’, this band are as undefinable as their name suggests. Bizarre synths, strange samples and catchy-as-hell guitar lines litter their songs and make Raven beats Crow one of those bands that you just can’t pigeon-hole. “They sound familiar yet new at the same time. Your ears will rest comfortably in their domain, yet you will come away with the realisation that what you’ve heard is not quite like anything you’ve encountered before.” Their live shows are renowned as a truly audio/visual experience – with the band often playing against backdrops of 3D versions of cult 70s cinema. Their debut, limited edition E.P. ‘Pantheon of Stars’, was released in August and they gave all 100 away for free…Corvine Crackers!"
- Artrocker/Pepe Jeans
"Gob-smackingly inventive alternative pop - would love to see them perform this at the South Bank or something...A priceless find." - The Music Tourist Board
"The garage sensibility of a Seeds or Electric Prunes given a contemporary nigh on Hot Chip electro sparseness, and all tied up with some post punk sniffy nosed experimentation. Corvine crackers…" - Bugbear Promotions

Bio
Raven beats Crow are a four piece band from London with a taste for the broken and the beautiful … Imagine if you will, keyboards that resemble a battalion of ice-cream vans from the future, rampant basslines and erratic guitars woven into a tapestry of organically-mechanical drumbeats.
This well stocked aviary of musical styles has recently appeared live at many ‘5 star’ venues across London and the UK. The band also host their very own club night “Club Raven” in Camden, where they play along-side a variety of other hand picked unsigned bands and performers.
