Bio
Bryan Feddish has been playing bass over thirty years, his favorite players being Geddy Lee, Chris Squire and John Entwistle. He has studied with Carol Kaye, Jeff Berlin and Raymond Clemens. Bryan currently plays rock, blues, classical and bluegrass.
Dan Nace has a background on the bass, but has been playing mandolin for almost twenty years. Previously with the J.P. Daniels Band, Dan's unique picking style accentuates the melodies and adds the punch to the rhythm of Raven Hills sound.
Growing up in Northern Virginia, Brenda Smith has been around bluegrass all her life. Whether singing lead or harmony, she brings the mountain sound of traditional bluegrass to any performance.
Being told by none other than Earl Scruggs that he had solid licks, J.J. Fisher's banjo playing style drives the Raven Hill sound, from the up -tempo to the ballads. J.J. has performed throughout the mid-Atlantic area and spent two years playing the Wheeling Jamboree with Lyla Lu and the Country Boys.
Pete Smith adds his rough-edge lead vocals and complimentary harmonies to the Raven Hill sound. He switched to guitar after playing mandolin with Rapps Dam Bluegrass.
