Feeling a bit camera shy

Voted 'Leeds Best Unsigned Band 2011'
Headliner 'On the Edge Festival 2011'
Headliner ' Leeds Beer Festival 2011'
Formed in 2006, Raw Peaches, inspired and influenced by the sound of Funky soul rock bands such as Steely Dan and Sam Cooke are reigniting Blues infused Rock. Voted by the public Leeds Best Unsigned Band 2011 and described as one of the biggest unsigned prospects in the UK, Raw Peaches are the only unsigned act from the England to be invited to perform at the Michigan Art Prize Festival in Grand Rapids, US.
Reviews about the band:
Marjorie Yost, Head of Concert Planning for the US Art Prize talking about when she first stumbled across the boys:
"I couldn't move. Simply forgot to breathe for a few minutes. It was like I was hypnotized. You know those great moments in life when you just feel so happy and peaceful and in awe of life and all that's in it? When all seems right with the world and you can just sit back and enjoy it without a care in the world? That's the euphoria that came over me that night as I heard Raw Peaches play for the first time.Unrehearsed, real, and RAW. One minute soft and romantic, the next pulsating and sexy, the night became electrified in their presence. They owned the room, and everyone in it, including me, fell in love. I told the guys that night that I was honored to have seen them play, and I meant every word."

Individual band member Bio's
Jake Waddington
Raw Peaches Front man, writer and composer:
At the age of just 18 Jake was asked to write and arrange a saxophone concierto for a fifty two piece orchestra. His voice has been described as one of the best up and coming male voices in the UK. Not only a multi instrumentalist but a front man with a multitude of on stage persona’s that overflow with a raw animal magnetism hypnotizing his audience. His voice, one minute soft and romantic- the next pulsating, sexy and capable of earth-shattering intensity. Jake effortlessly communicates a deeper and more intense emotion in both his guitar and voice than almost any other frontman which, alongside his technical virtuosity, is quite simply the perfect combination for singing the blues.

Simon Wright
Raw Peaches Drummer
A good Drummer needs to positively buzz with energy. Few exemplify this better than stick-wielding Simon Wright, who starts every performance in the manner of a flailing music maniac and proceeds, somehow, to then step up the tempo making the Tasmanian Devil look low on vigour.

Calum Robinson
Raw Peaches Lead Guitarist
An example of someone who could power rockets by song alone. A flamboyant showman of a guitarist who’s known to woo crowds by playing lead breaks behind his back and climbing up on top of stages to play solo’s. Calum drips with charisma and talent when he plays.

Oli Leeroy Jenkins
Raw Peaches long awaited Bassist:
Back in 2010, Raw Peaches walked into a bar and there he was. The bassist they’d spent 5 years searching for. A bassist who displays serious technical prowess and a bassist who oozes rhythm, harmony, melody and grooviness. Fizzing with energy on stage, he and his bass are a rhythmic force to be reckoned with. Over the years bassists have explored the possibilities long unimaginable on their instrument, but Leeroy Jenkins almost entirely renews it.
