RAX REBL

RAX REBL (born Rakim Thompson), was born on January 7th, 1996 on the NW side of London, England. At a young age he moved to Atlanta, Ga where his mother re-married and started a new life away from the UK. Rax moved to the Eastside of Atlanta with his family, where he grew up with his cousin who would later become a mega star. There were the everyday struggles he had to face, with the occasional fights and usual gang activity. Growing up and seeing certain things from an early age tends to make you think quicker and to see things from a different angle. Apart from what Rax was exposed to in the Apartments, he knew exactly what he wanted to do later in life. So did everyone else, and that was Music. Rax spent hours writing poems which he would accidentally turn into raps.

Growing up as a British kid in Atlanta made him always standout, some hated and some loved it. Rax always felt like he didn't fit in so he was usually to himself and quiet. Some misunderstood him for being shy, which wasn't hard to do. As time passed, he pushed his fears and uncertainty to the side and recorded for the first time. "R.I.P. Felix" as he was the first person to ever record Rax and take him seriously in the music business.

Years went by, so many songs were posted on Facebook (this was when Facebook was the only power social media outlet). This raised the awareness of his local school friends and peers. After the great feedback Rax would always get, he began to take things more seriously. was getting he decided to would later become a local rap star in his small community. After many years of writing and recording, he leveled up. Soon later he met "Key!" and "Curtis Williams" who were in the early stages of "rap stardom". They all became closer friends through music and mutual friendships. 

Rax began to find his own lane in the Atlanta music scene and created a fanbase. He still didn't have the best resources to be heard so he went to the most popular music strip in Atlanta and build his own stage. Rax then performed in front of everyone who would be on Edgewood ave every weekend for 30 weekends in a row. While performing every weekend he would build a greater fanbase in the streets. Although this went very well, he felt that it still wasn't enough. Rax was then later picked to perform at the "ATL to ATX" stage at the SXSW music conference. With all of the grinding and self he was doing, he became more visible to the college scene. Shortly after Rax was picked to go on tour with Future's artist, Zoey Dollaz. During this tour Rax performed in 7 different states as an unsigned artist with an imaginary manager booking his shows. 

RAX REBL released his official EP that did well locally, but caught the ear of Super Producer - Honorable C.N.O.T.E and Mike Will's 30Roc. 

To follow up with his success Rax then released his sophmore EP titled YouWillUnderstandLater, which has been streamed over 100,000 times within the first 2 months of being available to the public. On this projects he has several songs with the super producer Honorable C Note and 4 Point0 Lehgo.

Rax has a huge passion & extreme love for music and every aspect of it. He has built his network tremendously by working with many producers and local acts.
