Bio
Akacha's originals is a mixture of Latin and Smooth Jazz rhythms blended with a touch of 'island' flavor indicative of the cultural roots of the band's genetic makeup. It's members have ties with the island of Guam in the west pacific. Ray the primary writer describes it as 'guamaican' which has similarities with the 'jawaiian' sound from Hawaii.
