Bio

Ray Bond was born to his father Robert Wayne Bond and Judith Lorraine Bond in a small southern Ohio town named Shawnnee in 1976. Shawnee was a black diamond town built for the mining of coal His father worked the mines for many years.

Being Grown up on a miners salary music was the families favorite pastime. As Ray Grew he himself felt drawn to country music after listening to his father and mother sing and play many weekends over. Ray at the age of 15 began playing drums and finally got into his first country band but did not sing, it was his love for music that compelled him to play. Ray did not even sing a note til he was in his twenties and even then he just did it because of his fathers beautiful voice.

Ray cut his very first cover cd in Seversville TN. then his reaction to that cd made him crave the spotlight. Ray was offered to be on the E.I.A. Awards show and Record Row Review in Nashville TN. winning the Star search award. But during his trip his father fell very ill and when he returned he had to face what was to come. Ray and His father was able to talk before he was taken by the Lord and was asked by his father if there was a way to use the voice God had given him to use it as much as possible and not waste the gift that Ray's Father himself had possessed and Ray promised his father on that day.

Since Then Ray has done that very thing. Ray has had the honor of recording his single that was written and composed for his father and then dedicated to his mother that he had lost June 22 2012. Ray has played many venues in Nashville since his fathers death such as Gabes Lounge, Nashville Palace, Legends Corner, The Second Fiddle, and The Stage and all has housed the biggest stars of country music. Ray has also had the honor of playing in Star North Carolina for his good friend and a outstanding Songwriter Ricky Dunn for Stars Renovation Project.

Ray Has had the honor of seeing his music grow and that growth lead him to another good friend Marty Ertl Dj on the greatest little country station in the nation WPYB AM 1130 which has held many suprises and more to come. Ray is now in the studio Gearing Up For his Album Release and using his voice as he promised
