JUDGMENT DAY

Written By: Ray Burton

JUDGMENT DAY
(by Ray Burton)

Chorus:
Take me home to the blue ridge mountains
Lay me down near an old oak tree
Deliver my soul to the heavenly Angels
For the Judgment Day is here for me

My Jesus died on the cross at Calgary
His blood to wash away my sins
Although on Earth my life was troubled
In heaven I'll walk beside my friends
Now on that day I‘ll stand in judgment
For all the sins that I have done
Fall to my knees and ask forgiveness
And I’ll be welcomed like his son

Chorus:
Now on that misty mountain morning
Don't shed a single tear for me
I'm with my savior up in heaven
Where I will live eternally
If you put your trust in the heavenly father
Then you can share in his rewards
Just keep your eyes upon the heavens
And when he comes you will rejoice

ANGELS UP IN HEAVEN

Written By: Ray Burton

ANGELS UP IN HEAVEN
(by Ray Burton)

Looking back I still remember
When I was six years old
My mother went to heaven
To rest her weary soul
There were seven of us children
That gathered round her grave
And we felt her loving spirit
As the clouds began to rain

Chorus:
Now there are angels up in heaven
That are watching over me
I can hear their voices singing
Like a whisper in a breeze
While on earth they stand beside me
And they guide me on my way
Through my trials and tribulations
And temptations I must face

As I wandered through my lifetime
My sister passed away
I was blessed to have her near me
And I miss her every day
Through these times I often wonder
If they hear me when I pray
And they answer when they're near me
Like a dream from yesterday

Chorus:

When the clouds begin to darken
And the rains begin to fall
Don’t lose yourself in the sadness Don’t shed any tears at all For when you really need them with you
They will be there by your side
To guide you through the darkness
And to open up your eyes

Chorus:
