raymond j. neal better known as ray diamonds was born in boston mass, on nov. 27, 1979 he has a passion to sing and create music for the soul, as a child my family came together with his uncles playing the guitar and singing songs that they still sing today, as a child he really felt the emotions from songs being played on the radio and it was very powerful to feel that at such a young age and the love continued into the church's youth choir, moving from church to church actually made it easier to lose any sense of fear i had for performing in front of crowds so he wanted to take the wonderful gift of voice the lord gave him. he was in a r&b group called phase 3 which performed at the apollo in n.y. city three times and won every time. some of his music influences are r.kelly, brian mcknight, babyface, michael jackson, mighty clouds of joy. he has no children but plans to get married when he meets that special lady, he has worked with many various artists both writing and producing and also has opened up shows for slim of the r&b group 112, bow wow, lords of the underground, az, capone and noreaga. so he feels he is blessed and that good things are about to happen. thank u very much
