RAYLA RAY BIO

            The
soothing sounds of Rayla Ray is what Nashville producer Richard Donahue calls
“timeless radio-friendly pop/country.”
This Gatesville, Texas native has been wowing crowds with her easy-going
yet energetic stage presence in the southern region of the United States,
especially in Texas, Kentucky and Tennessee.

            Now
Rayla’s captured that stage excitement on her very first five-song extended
play recording GIRLS TRAIN, the debut release from Loot Boot Records.  Featuring a mix of original material like the
title track and “I’m Getting There” and songs written by top Nashville
songwriters such as Denny Wells (George Strait, Rascal Flats) and George Teren
(Tim McGraw), this solid collection is sure to please listeners who crave quality
music in the spirit of Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack, and Miranda Lambert.  According to recording engineer John Albani,
"Group sessions in general are becoming far and few between.  What makes this EP special is the fact that
creative juices were flowing between all the session players as the tracks were
being recorded live."

            The stage
is no stranger to the beautiful singer as she won rave reviews as an opening
act for superstars Charlie Daniels, Mark Chestnutt, Collin Ray, Kenny Rogers,
Ronnie Milsap, Merle Haggard, and the Commodores.  In addition, Rayla was a finalist in National
Talent Quest Contest in Nevada and has burned up stages at the Cotton Bowl,
Texas Motor Speedway, and the Texas State Fair.
This lively entertainer frequently leaves audiences wanting more at such
special events as the annual St. Jude's Rock and Roll Marathon, Regional
Medical Center in Lebanon, TN and Walmart corporate shows. She also shared her talents as
a weekly performer on KSCS-FM's (96.3--Dallas) "Taking Texas To Our
Injured Troops" show benefitting Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

            Rayla Ray
is ready to show off her “new tattoo” (to quote one of the song titles) via her
EP by lining up radio, club and festival tours during the “warmer weather
months”.   So be sure to “get there” and
prepared to be amazed by this special talent.
