Bio
Ray & Renny are two brothers with some serious musical talent. Born into a family of musicians from St.Martin in the Caribbean, Ray & Renny were raised in a single parent home by their mother. Gained the love for music at the early ages of 6 and 8, crafting their vocal abilities in the family gospel choir. It didn’t take long before their talent was discovered by their family. Leading them into multiple performances around the islands. The brothers family moved to Atlanta and eventually found home in the Netherlands. Here they discovered and developed the love and ability for writing and eventually producing .
They found much pleasure in the result. Later in age Ray & Renny appeared in a club performance and the club dj was overwhelmed by their stage presence and overall talent. He invited the two to record a song with him. The title of the song recorded was called “That Girl”. The song took them to many stages across the US, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. Early in 2006 at a live Akon concert, Ray & Renny, were introduced to Akon by their family member and business partner Melvin Brown (CEO of KONVICT MUZIK). He was impressed by their attitude, trust and determination. After reviewing their package it was clear that big things were about to happen.
Recording tracks with Akon, Teddy Riley and Mario Winans to name a few household names was only the beginning. Currently in the studio producing tracks for various artists and preparing to release their own album
