Still working on that hot first release.

From the landscapes of Cincinnati, Ohio where the rap and R&B scene has been somewhat quiet since the days of Hi Tek and The Isley Brothers, comes Ray Will. Born into a musical family, where his father sang in the church choir and uncles were in bands all around the city playing Gospel, Funk, r&b and jazz. Being around his elders he became intrigued with soul, and gospel music learning to even play the drums by the age of 2 and becoming the youth choirs drummer by the age of 4.

It Wasn't until 1998 when Ray Will heard Jay-Z's "Hard Knock Life" that he had aspirations of being a Rapper. He would start writing down rhyming words and rap in the same cadence of Jay-Z, even getting in trouble at school for not staying on task. By 2001 when Jay-Z released "The Blueprint" and Ray Will found out that Kanye West produced the album, Ray Will Fell In Love With Producing as well. He cites "The College Dropout" as the album that cemented his career choice.

Through high school and Late teens, Ray Will would perform with his Best Friend who was signed with Bootsy Collins. Ray would perform at Cincinnati Bengals events, the Taste Of cincinnati, oktoberfest, Prominent colleges such as Xavier University and University Of Cincinnati (where he opened up for Biz Markie).

After Studying music that dates back to the early 1920's, Ray Will began to fuse his Lyrical Wit with Progressive Rock, Jazz, Soul, Neo-Soul and Gospel, which gives him a unparalleled sound. he has finally come into himself. With cousins and production partners Bryan "Bud" Fairbanks And Jon Schuyler, they have built a label and band under the name "The Level" (LVL) they have sold out clubs in Cincinnati ranging from jazz clubs (The Greenwich) and Rock Clubs (Rakes End) also Oxford, Ohio on the campus of Miami University. He Has released two Solo Projects ( The Drop Off And The Drop Off 2) and fully Produced two R&B projects (Close Eyes To exit and Velvet Underground by Jon Schuyler).

With the untimely death of his mother, Ray Will promises to never quit on his dreams of becoming an influential Music Artist, because his mother never got to live her dreams. " I want to carry on the legacy of my mother through my philanthropy and my music, and inspire my peers and my kids to not let there dreams have ceilings". "Dream Big"
