Bio

Rachel Isabella Razon, also known as Razon, was born on December 5, 1994 in Tampa, Florida. Coming from a mix background of Filipina, Spanish and African American decent she naturally shined in the crowd. She grew up loving the art of music from broadway to old school R&B, rap/hip hop and pop music. During her childhood she practiced her singing and performing abilities in front of her grandmothers patients in the waiting room at a medical clinic in Florida.

At the age of six, Razon watched Britney Spears in concert, which was when she realized that her true passion was singing and performing. The idea of artists such as; Janet Jackson, Missy Elliot, Prince and Destinys Child creating a spectacular vision live on stage intrigued and motivated her to follow the same path. Since then, she entered many singing competitions, which matured her into a stage performer. Her music career kicked off with some of Floridas local touring groups: Entertainment Revue and Clubhouse Kids.

As Razon grew older, two of her main and passionate advocates of her talent passed away, which was her beloved grandmother, Dr. Flora Ancheta Razon, who she called LaLa and her grandfather Mr. Ben David Razon. The heartaches of her lost progressed her to follow her passion even more and for the love of her family who were always the number one supporters in her life. Razon, being her stage name, gave her more of a drive to pursue her passion because her name derives from a Spanish word meaning reason.

From traveling the world and performing from city to city there is no question that Razon is the next big thing. She is a force to be reckoned with, with the heart of gold and strength of passion. Shes excelled not only in music and performance but also in model, entertainment host and fashion. Describing herself as an old school girl in a new school world is who Razon is. Her sound is infused with the vocals of a 90s R&B singer and the beats of todays top hits, trade marking a sound that is all her own. She is currently working in the studio compiling her first international album and two of her singles Where the Gods Go and Could this be Love is on sale on iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby.com
