The RB Express offers a perfect blend of your favorite music, incorporating professionally orchestrated tracks, tight harmonies, stage presence, and audience interaction to deliver a dynamic and engaging performance. The RB Express is one of the finest, most entertaining bands to emerge from the Jersey Shore, and your guests will undoubtedly love our music and find it familiar and very entertaining. For any occasion, there is nothing more compelling than live music to make your event successful and memorable.
The RB Express is a three-person vocal group, whose members have years of diverse performing experience. We can easily customize our repertoire to suit your needs, ranging from soft ballads to toe tapping, foot-stomping dance music. We can also offer a full DJ service upon request for your one-stop, party experience.
The RB Express has performed with such artists as Frankie Lymon's Teenagers, Little Anthony and The Imperials, The Tokens, Larry Chance and The Earls, The Passions, The Dimensions, Richard Street's Temptations Review, Felix Cavaliere and The Young Rascals, The Happenings, Lou Christie, The Angels, and even made appearances in the movie, "The Old Man and the Seymore", and on television with "Fox and Friends". In addition to performing locally in New Jersey, they have performed in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and in January 2006 and again in 2007, the RB Express left their homes on the Jersey Shore (temporarily, of course!) to spread the word of doo-wop in the Pacific Islands of Hawai'i, for a 10 day, 5 concert tour. On December 12th,2009, the RB Express made their international debut on the island of St. Maarten to weave their own brand of musical harmonies and funny antics.
The RB Express was formed in March of 2004 from individual soloists expressing a love and respect for the music of days gone by. The members of the RB Express add their own touch to songs we’ve all heard on the radio. They have completed two albums, “On the Scene”, and "Back on Track", and recently finished their long-awaited 3rd album in the hope of continuing their tradition of tight harmonies to fans both old and new.
The RB Express is available for a variety of events such as block parties, picnics, weddings, car shows, club dates, concerts, dances, fund-raisers and anywhere else you want great music and great fun.
