Bio

R.B. Stone's life in a word, is Americana. Born in Huntingburg, Indiana, growing up in Ohio the grainbelt of America, he has deep blue collar roots. He's lived in over 12 states residing most of the time in the midwest, southwest and the south. As a songwriter and an actor, R.B. draws from his past experiences working as a cowboy, truck driver, commercial pilot, wrangler, railroad laborer/machine operator, concert promoter, record producer, retail manager, paperboy, farmhand, construction worker, amongst other duties. He says "I can relate to most people regardless of where I'm standing in the world, we're all human and face the same issues give or take." R.B.'s music has been played around the world for years; he's won several awards (among these a songwriting award from Billboard Magazine) and praise from his professional peers. He is an EMI Music Publishing affiliate as writer/publisher and continues to work internationally with EMI. He says, "I'm gearing up for the second half of my career. I've seen a lot of the world but still want to see more and do more. I vow to play, write and tour until I can't, for whatever reason that might be. It's what I am and it needs to be expressed." R.B. has toured in 31 countries on 6 continents, and has recorded 12 albums, to date. His songs have been recorded by the Marshall Tucker Band, Texas great Gary P Nunn, and other acts around the globe.
