Reachback, the south-east’s finest, up-and-coming pop punk band have released their first single; a four track affair that borders on being an EP. Titled ‘Butterflies’, a song of unrequited love, the single contains two B-sides as well as an acoustic version of the title track as featured below.

It’s a rare cross genre appeal in which the band can travel between rock and pop without becoming absolute tools. They’re not too caught up in the scene to be afraid to perform a Lady Gaga medley with a metal inspired middle 8 breakdown. Reachback have a strong stage presence, a rare thing to find at this level so if you want to witness them for yourselves, their next London gig is at the Vibe Live bar on Brick Lane.

Reachback - No One Else [Single]

Last year was a big year for young band, Reachback. They released their debut EP 'Butterflies' in August, and ended the year on another high by winning 'Essex Undiscovered 2010'. Now in the New Year, the band are looking to go even further - self-releasing their second single, "No One Else" on Valentine's Day 2011.

The bands upbeat, radio-friendly tunes and female fronted vocalist, echo the likes of Paramore. A comparison that would surely generate interest amongst the Myspace generation. The single is masterfully clean cut, and demonstrates a level of maturity and attention to detail that gives the band an advantageous edge over others in the pop/rock genre.

Overall, Reachback have given themselves a promising start to 2011. - PUSH TO FIRE
