Reachback are a Pop punk band from London / Essex who have journeyed steadily from the humblings of suburban teen bedroom demos and rehearsals in 2008 into an adult band now rapidly catching both the public and industry eye.

The band's success began when they won 'Essex Undiscovered 2010' - a county wide competition judged by industry executives which saw the band take victory over 72 other bands! Reachback ended the year on a high by releasing their first single 'Butterflies' which, after extensive touring of the UK, led the band to being short listed for the industry selected 'Music Crowns Awards' in the Pop category.

2011 saw the Reachback release 2 new singles, the first of which,'No One Else', caught the eye of both Kerrang! Radio and BBC Radio 1 who dubbed the band 'Britain's answer to Paramore'. The second single, 'Without You', which was recorded with Grammy Award-nominated producer, Matt Hyde (Newton Falkener, Ash, Bullet For My Valentine) went straight into the Total Rock Radio playlist. That month the band were also short-listed finalists in the Hard Rock Calling London Battle of the Bands and were subsequently named as Absolute Radio’s ‘Unsigned Band of the Week’ by Sarah Champion.

Later in 2011, the band were picked up on by US MTV A&R Consultant, Nic Harcourt; a man dubbed ‘the most influential DJ in America’ and offered publishing terms with ‘Hype Music’; a hybrid production catalogue powered by MTV and Sony ATV to support leading independent acts with MTV-identified global popular reach. Following the signing, Reachback were invited to Abbey Road Studios to record acoustic presentations of tracks ‘Butterflies’ and ‘No One Else’ with MTV and Extreme Music executives with the view to placing the tracks across film and television. To date, the bands tracks have been featured on MTV shows such as 'Punk'd', 'Battle Of The Ex's', 'Geordie Shore', 'Abbie's Ultimate Dance Competition' and the Columbia pictures film trailer for German film 'Die Vampirschwestern'. The band also released 5-track EP 'Wake Up' through MTV on October 31 2011.

Reachback entered the first week of 2012 with a bang, winning Ourzone's band on the month before setting off to Los Angeles, California where Reachback were nominated for 3 'Artist in Music Awards' including 'Band of the Year'. While in LA, Reachback also played showcases in MTV's head offices and to Extreme Music (SonyATV).

In early April, the band took to the stage and supported McFly on their sold out Southend date of their current “Keep Calm and Play Louder” Tour, which triggered an enormous response from fans and media.

Following the show, Reachback released their debut official video for the track ‘No One Else’ off the Wake Up EP, which was exclusively released through Ourzone Magazine, and resulted in Reachback having a double page spread in Ourzone’s April/May edition. The video was also featured on Florida based radio station, Sunset Island Music’s home page, and Blank TV. The video quickly hit over 2,000 views in the first hour, and over 20,000 views in the first week. Kerrang and MTV Networks both took interest in the video, and it is pending to be aired on both channels.

The recent success of both the McFly show and video release saw the band become finalists in Red Bull’s Bedroom Jam Competition - A nationwide, fan-driven competition which saw Reachback earn a place on the bill on some of the UK's hottest festivals such as Slam Dunk Festival, Download Festival and Hevy Festival!

During the Red Bull Stage Festival tour, the band released there new single 'Pretty Slick (For A White Chick)' along with B-side, 'Get Up'. The band recorded the single with acclaimed producer Romesh Dodangoda who has worked with some of the most recognizable names in the music industry such as Motorhead, Lostprophets and Bullet For My Valentine.

Reachback started 2013 with another high - winning an award in the Best Music Video category for their 'No One Else' video at the 'Artist In Music Awards' which are based out in LA. Shortly after, the band signed a recording deal with US based Independent Label 'Spectra Records' and then headed back into the studio to record their full length debut album which is to be released to stores all over America.
