Ready, Steady... Torpedo!

After discovering that they were the only two people they knew who loved punk rock, Graham Messier and Jon Busch formed Ready, Steady... Torpedo! in 2009. With a range of influences from The Stooges and Bad Religion to Hot Water Music and the Murder City Devils, RST set out to capture the best pieces of 30 years of punk rock history and make them their own.

While Graham's grandparents spent most of their weekends on Cape Cod, Jon and Graham invaded their vacant Needham home to write and practice until one day they realized they had enough songs to be a real band. Enlisting the help of Paul Howard (aka Apaulcalypse How) and Jay 'Melee' Barker (who, in true punk fashion, learned to play bass just for this band), they completed their lineup and recorded their first demo in June of 2010. Since then, they've been bringing the rock to Boston and the North Shore on a regular basis.
