Real aka Hood Boss

November 11th, 1980, the Sun showed out and burst onto the scene in Brooklyn, New York. It came in the form of Raysun S. Mason Richardson. It was realized at an early age that there was something special about this one. At the age of three he was pulling pots and pans out of his grandparents cabinets and bangin' out beats that would amaze anyone. Recognizing his gift, his grandparents baught him his first drum set and he's been bangin' out beats ever since. From gospel, to band, hip-hop and free-style. Raysun often heard the sounds of Jazz, Gospel and Hip-Hop played constantly at home. His grandfather would sit him down and they'd listen to great Jazz artists. His mother and grandmother would take him to church where gospel would permeate his rythems and his uncle Jah (RIP) would blast music in his bedroom with turntables playing the latest Hip-Hop beats and scratchin'. He grew up listening to classic Hip-Hop artists such as Run D MC, Gangstarr, Biggy Smallz, Bone Thugs and Harmony and countless others.
At a young age Raysun was picking up music and then remixing what he heard on keyboard while also fine tuning his drum beats. He was so gifted he was pulled out of Home Economics class by the band teacher and placed in band class. He put his high school band on the map in Germany. People didn't come to the games or concerts for the game or the show. They came to see and hear Raysun play! His signature song was DynoRock. By the age of 13 Raysun began rapping and it became his passion. He's worked with major artists such as Lil' Flip, Juvenile, Lil' John, Pastor Troy, and numerous others. His work has spread from Killeen, Texas to New York, Maryland, California and through the internet World Wide. Raysun also creates beats for other artists. His style is versatile, raw and origianl.
