Reality

Reality was brung together in 2005 with the original 2 as Yung Bless (the founder) and prophet. Reality has had many artists in the past year a half, some are still around for example our female artist Jennice York aka "Baby J" and Wesley aka "kalypso". Reality has come across many obstacles on establishing a name, artist that are dedicated, and a sound that people can relate to. The first gig Reality had was March 2006 at Jungle Island, the crowd had loved what they heard which was only 2 songs, because they were features in another groups gig. From that point on they performed in Orlando, fl. at a music festival which included Khalid whom has a distribution deal, and Preacher. From that point on they did shows Boomerz in Seminole, Fl., Bourbon Street night club in New Port Richey, Fl. with Fantazma, Black Ops, Hard-Target, Chief. Reality has had most of their shows at Pegasus lounge, which 75% of the time Reality has hosted the events. Reality has also worked with Backdraft who formly introduced Tampa Wicked. At that time Reality came together with Backdraft and became Reality's B.A.C.K. (which was short lived) and in due time came the respect of Tampa Wicked. Jaten the artist from Tampa Wicked proposed the collaborations with Yung Bless in 2007 released a song titled "I Got Your Back". The song alone has been a hit for not only Tampa Wicked but Reality as well, gaining interest to another side of hip hop. Since then Reality has taken a major step into "Reality". Both Yung Bless and his new partner in crime also his best friend Jay has taken not only Reality but their new record company Reality Records to a new level, both financially and structablly. Not only did they change up bosses, they changed the name and added some new members. The team of aspiring artists funded and composed a album which was called Armaggedon. The album had 20 tracks which included all the artist from Reality Records. The album was well put together, but the marketing was not up to par, not even selling 200 copies. When in fact the album "Next Year" sold more than 350 copies. The two bosses sat down in frustration, regrouping and taking their new marketing ideas to a higher power. The bosses of Reality made a good connection with the CEO of Hornblasters.com Matt, whom bought a different light to their marketing scheme. The two ended 2007 with a positive attitude goin into 2008. Full speed ahead, and theres one thing for sure, this year will definetly be better than last year with more to come.
