Bio

The band is made up of lead vocalist/guitarist Steve Stuff, bassist/backing vocals Andrew Spangler, guitarist Herb McNally and drummer Greg Kwiatkowski. Herb and Greg performed with the local band Homeward Down for over two years and played many venues across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Andrew played guitar in the local bands Imortal for a year and Next of Kin for five years, with both bands performing across Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. Steve has played in many punk and indie bands over the years, most notably with Lancaster's Briny Deep in the mid-90's.

Over the past year, Reason Left Town has been making a name for themselves in Central Pennsylvania, playing shows at a variety of clubs and bars around the area. Venues include The Chameleon Club in Lancaster; Smalls, The Wheelie Bar, Club19, The Tourist Inn and The Waterway in York; Bube's Brewery and The Watering Trough in Mount Joy.

Time was spent in the studio in early 2008 to put together a Demo/EP that the band is very proud of, which showcases their sound very well. Reason Left Town enjoyed the radio debut of their EP in the Summer of 2008, which aired on 97.3FM Open Mic Night with host, Michael Anthony Smith. The EP was met with such great enthusiasm and excitement by the audience and the host that the members of Reason Left Town were invited into the radio studio by the host for an hour-long interview and listening "party".

More recently, the band enjoyed recording a live show at Bube's Brewery in Mount Joy, PA. The music is now up on Bonxo.com/bubesonbonxo. The band wishes to thank Mike of MHM Productions for the live recording and support, as well as Todd of 5e A/V Productions and K-Sound Studio, for the mixing and mastering.

As for now, the band's plan is to continue playing their high-energy shows at more venues, broaden the reach of their infectious sound and to continue writing music for a much anticipated full-length album in 2009.
