Bio

Tim and Scot have been playing music together since high school, which is some number of years ago. Through genre-skipping years of writing, they've always sought to do things a little differently, but with enough of a traditional framework that everyone can dive in if they so choose. It's pop in parts, like Duran Duran; it's metal in parts, like Iron Maiden or Type O Negative; it's acoustic in parts, like Warren Zevon; it's rock in parts, like Pink Floyd or The Beatles; it's political in parts, like Manic Street Preachers; it's experimental in parts, like John Cale or King Crimson. In the end, it's all Tim & Scot and it's all original.

Reasons For Moving's first CD, Consumption Of The Fittest, is a swirling, acoustic-based journey through modern life, fleeting mortality, sorrow, joy and a subtle bit of righteous anger. Thirteen tracks include the full-band assault of Nothing Like A Nuclear Winter To Cure Global Warming, the spoken-word ranting of They Smell Pretty Good, the burned bridges of The Only One and self-actualization of I Keep My Heart In A Box.

Shortly after the release of Consumption Of The Fittest, RFM added Dave Crowe on keyboards/piano/guitar/vocals to the group to round out the live and recording sounds.
