Biography

Rebecca has singing and performing in her blood. She comes from a long line of performers dating back to Vaudeville. Rebecca's musical interest began at the tender age of 18 months, singing tunes and lyrics before she could even form sentences. At the age of five, she performed in a talent show in front of over 500 people. Each year she sang for the show and each year she loved the audience and the excitement of performing.

She began vocal lessons at age nine with a local music instructor who's students have gone on to Broadway and Hollywood. After moving overseas, she took voice lessons for a year. Then in the summer of 2003, she auditioned for NTS Productions and began new vocal training. Within six months, she began recording original songs and has since had the good fortune to have the great support of people who believe in her. She loves to sing 24/7. Rebecca attends Berklee College of Music in Boston and lives music every day of her life. Rebecca spends time checking out current vocalists and performers and keeping up with the music industry. She was born with a love for music and a passion for singing and is now living her dream of a singing career.

REBECCA was named a "Gold Artist" by RadioIndy.com. Their review of her CD "Picture Me" said: "Rebecca's "Picture Me" CD is an excellent pop CD that will have you dancing with its excellent groove. You'll be amazed at the vocals of this teenage artist. The songwriting, musicianship and production are all solid. The title track and "I Do" have all of the elements of top-40 dance, pop hits, including very memorable choruses. We loved the trumpet fills in the inspirational "All Men Are Created Equal." Wait For Me

Wait for Me
Music: Shir Nash
Lyrics: Lynne Moritz
© 2006

When I’m near you
Oh, my mind is somewhere else
When I look for you
I can’t seem to find myself
(repeat)

When I’m scared
I run into your arms
When I’m there
I’m taken by your charm

When I’m near you
Oh, my mind is somewhere else
When I look for you
I can’t seem to find myself

When I’m lost
I find myself with you
When you’re gone
I’m missing something true

Look for me
I’ll be there for you in the sun
Wait for me
I’ll be there for you when you come

When I’m scared
I run into your arms
When I’m there
I’m taken by your charm

Look for me
I’ll be there for you in the sun
Wait for me
I’ll be there for you when you come

"Times"

Written By: Lynne Carol

Days together,
Nights apart.
It’s not to be this way for long
This is just the start.

Every hour
Spent with you
Is a warm embracing song.
Love is bright and new.

Chorus:
Times fly
Days go by
Nights wane
I go insane.
Needing you
Is what I do.
We’re one
Life’s begun.

Hold my hand
Understand
By your side is where I belong.
My love is so strong.

Walk with me
Dreams will be
Something we will always share.
Your eyes show you care.

Another Story

Written By: Lynne Carol

What you sayin’ now?
Don’t tell me that you were right and I was wrong then…
What you say to someone
Else, I see the light

You can be my best friend
When the time is right with those around you
But your story changes
When the crowd goes home

Chorus:
What a story
Take yourself and your pride and find yourself another
Puppet tied to your strings it’s someone else’s story
You can’t play your head games with me, I have my feelings
It’s another new day enough of all your dreaming

What ya doin’ now?
Don’t tell me that. You were standing right beside me
I was there and I saw you playin’
At your own damned game
You can fool the best of them when you’re Playin’ with the ones who don’t know you
But the story changes when
The crowd goes home

I Do

Written By: Lynne Carol

I do, I do
I do, I do

I see you everywhere
I feel you in the air
You're everywhere I go
I lu-u-ove you

You're always on my mind
I want you all the time
I need you so much
So just kiss-me-once-more

I do, I do
I do, I do

You're always in my heart
You've been there from the start
I can't ignore it
You are pa-a-art of me

I know you're every thought
I feel your every move
With you beside me
I just ca-a-ant lose

I know, I know you
I know, I know you
I know, I know you

Oh, I know you.....
And you know me too

Chorus:
When you are near to me
I feel such energy
It's such a powerful
E-mo-tion in me
You give me happiness
I have no loneliness
You're there beside me and I
Need you with me

I do, I do
I do, I do

Oh, oh, oh yeah.......

I know, I know you
I know, I know you
I know, I know you
Oh, I know you.......

and you know me too

Chorus

Oh, oh, oh yeah...

Hollister Smile

Written By: Rebecca and Lynne Carol

Hey you with that Hollister smile
Have you been waiting there for a while?
Abercrombie designer clothes
Where you come from nobody knows

Standing there dazzling everyone
Reflecting the golden sun
Rolling with the waves to the shore
An attraction I can’t ignore

Look at me with those piercing eyes
I wonder, you, who you are
Melt my heart with that dazzling smile
I wonder where you are

Hey you with the golden tan
Standing there in Bahamian sand
Filling pages in magazines
Centerpiece in a million scenes

Strolling through the bright city lights
Armani jeans fitted smooth and tight
Cameras flashing everywhere
I can’t imagine a face to compare

Melt my heart with alluring style
I wonder, you, who you are
Accessorized in Armani style
I wonder from where you are

They put you on the cover of Vogue and GQ
On Tracadero Square and in front of Le Louvre
Your body fills the billboards along every street
He’s looking at me

Veo tu cuerpo hermoso alli’
Tu sonrisa Hermosa brilla aqui
Yo nunca pairtire de tu lado
Yo reunirme contigo? Pero cuando?

Hey you with that Hollister smile
Have you been waiting there for a while?
Abercrombie designer clothes
Where you come from nobody knows

Look at me with those piercing eyes
No, the camera doesn’t lie
Sexy lips sitting on your grin
You’re confident, but you’re shy

Never Ever

Written By: Lynne Carol

Let me sing this song to you
Let me reach into your heart…and
Let me say all the things that you should know
Why I never, ever told you, I don’t know

Give me time to tell you now
What I never, ever said before
Let me send the words right through your soul

Chorus
Let me touch you
Let me reach deep inside your soul
Let me fill you
‘Til you’re full of love and overflowing
Let me watch you
‘til I feel my eyes are burning
Let me touch you
Like you’ve never ever, ever known

Let me say these words to you
Let me make it all brand new…and
Let me tear through your heart like a storm
That’ll never ever end I love you

There, I’ve told you everything
Reached into the pit of my very being
Exposed my inner thoughts and feelings
Nothing left unopened
Flesh and bones are peeled away
All my nerves exposed

Tell Me

Written By: Rebecca & Lynne Carol

Tell Me

I had been waiting for you for so long
Now there’s nothing you can say to make me stay
I had been looking everywhere, but of course you weren’t there
That’s when I saw you

Chorus
Tell me, tell me that you love me, love me
It’s above me
What ya say? So turn around
Tell me, tell me, that you want, want me
you need me
But it’s not real
You’re losing ground

What you did with her was so wrong
Now there’s nothing you can say to make me stay
Now I’m clearing all the air, it’s as if you were never there
You better chase me

I had been waiting for you for so long
Now there’s nothing you can say to make me stay
I had been looking everywhere but of course you weren’t there
That’s when I saw you

Ridding yourself of your sins doesn’t mean your gonna win
I’m not your game
Now you’re gonna feel the burn from the fires that you earned
It’s too late I’m movin’ on
