"Rebecca Eaglin -- Gospel Singer"

Rebecca Eaglin -- Gospel Singer

“Imagine being at the pearly gates of heaven listening to angelic voices. Among those voices you hear the awesome sounds of Rebecca Eaglin. Her new CD, Faithful, which was conceived during a three-year hiatus after her last project, God Says You Can, adds a new twist to the contemporary gospel scene.

Eaglin's versatile sound has garnered attention since she was just eight-years old. She made her first TV appearance on BET's "Teen Summit" in 1995, then went on to MTV's "The Cut"; FOX Network's "Gordon Elliot Show"; Daystar's "Celebration"; TBN's "Praise the Lord"; and most recently -- World Harvest TV network "The Harvest Show." At 22 - years old, Miss Eaglin has shared the stage with many renowned gospel recording artists.

She truly lives up to her album's title, striving to be an example of love, faith and purity. Rebecca is a valuable asset to her community as well as to her fans. She says her mentors were her mom and her form pastor's wife...

Currently enrolled at the University of Houston where she is majoring in marketing, she still finds time to carry on her ministry...”

An Interview With Rebecca Eaglin

“ A beautiful face should be easy to market, right? Sure! After all, that's why we buy CD's. Just look at the secular market. You just need marginal talent and a great look. So it really doesn't matter if you can sing, right? Wrong. Just listen to Rebecca Eaglin's sophomore project. This young lady has not rested on the laurels of her first. She has worked hard. She has improved vocally and musically. With her hand heavy on the production of this project, you get a firsthand glimpse at what's on the mind of Ms. Eaglin. Beautiful face? Yes, certainly! But the voice and the talent more than matches. Check out what Rebecca has to say regarding her second effort and her efforts in the industry.... “

Rebecca Eaglin -- Faithful

“Stylistically, Faithful, for the most part departs from much of what has been heard from Eaglin to date. Retaining the sweet clarity of her vocals, she drops them into some incredibly funky tracks, courtesy of Cleo Sample who works with her on instrumentation. Eaglin writes nearly all of the mater on the album...

‘Stray’ stands out as the can't-miss cut on the album. Embraced by radio, the song is one of introspection and repentance, set over a deep groove. Eaglin fast-patters through the cut, nicely pacing her timing to the rhythm...”
